Directv announced in a press release April 12, 2011 that HBO GO® and MAX GO® will be coming to mobile platforms.

"HBO GO and MAX GO. DIRECTV's HBO and Cinemax subscribers will be able to access this new service through mobile devices, including the Apple iPad and iPhone and Android products later this year"

The best news about this is that its free for existing subscribers.

Amazon has been in the news for building cloud computers mostly over the last few weeks. Looks like the developers at AWS have been busy.

On October 11, 2010 Verizon announced that Kindle content will be available n its Android phones. For now availability is limited to Motorola Droid 2, Motorola Droid X and the Samsung Fascinate Galaxy S with more in the near future.

Verizon has had content through in house service VCast, but August 31, 2010 they took Movie Content a step forward with Crackle. It's a multi-platform premium video entertainment network from Sony Pictures Television.

Is a premium service like Vcast worth it? For now the answer appears to yes if you like good movies. Along with regular VCast programing Crackle adds things like A Jack Nicholson Collection, Origonal in house programing, and lots of content others just don't have.

When most of us think about shows and movies online and smartphones we think when will Hulu and the others save us with free apps connected to existing accounts. The providers have all said they are working on it.

A Crackle Movies premium subscription is available to customers for $5.99 per month in addition to the $10 monthly subscription for V CAST Video on Demand. EpicMix will allow guests to share their statistics and accomplishments through updates on Twitter and Facebook and guests can create special EpicMix leader boards with their Facebook friends. The EpicMix mobile application will alert guests when any of their Facebook friends are skiing and where they are on the mountain. The application will also allow guests to send messages to their private groups of Facebook friends on the mountain. The mobile application will also provide trail and grooming information, snow and weather reports, as well as resort news and traffic updates. EpicMix will also have a special website for kids under the age of 14, which will allow them to connect with their parents’ accounts, but will have content designed specifically for them and unique pins only kids can earn. The kids’ site also will have special privacy restrictions. Parents will also be able to use EpicMix to track the lift rides of their kids in real time.

Henry has had a warming hut named after him at the top of Mid Vail at Buffalo. Shush! its a secret because know one ever uses it and its heated. They also have a outdoor gas grill. Best place in Vail to eat lunch.
