HTC and Verizon need this June 22nd date to stick this time or risk users moving to the HTC EVO 4G or LG Ally Droid phones. Though Verizon wins in the second scenario those looking for a highend phone would likely head over to Sprint and Grab a EVO 4G.

From what we have heard and seen people are getting the phones they order. Some buyers have reported only waiting a week or so after ordering direct from Verizon Wireless. This tells us that Verizon Wireless is covering their butts but pushing these dates back. Anything can happen these days with technology.

Getting the Incredible at a Verizon Store is another animal. Our local stores have only been getting 3 to 5 HTC Incredible phones for sale a week. At one shop across from where we eat lunch has a 6 week waiting list. They are only a satellite store though.

The last shipping date announced May 1, 2010 was that the HTC Incredible would be shipping by the 14th. That day has come and gone and users will need to wait 2 to 3 more weeks for their phones unless they find one on eBay or Amazon.

Evo’s front-facing camera will be leaveraged for video chats, and Sprint will be launching two-way video chat function with the Evo 4G upon release. The EVO 4G will also be the first device to stream YouTube HQ.

Evo 4G’s 8-megapixel camera has the ability to record 720p HD video and then share other deviced and Televisions through the built-in the HDMI out port.

The EVO 4G will have a docking station accessory available at launch.The docking Station will ad the ability for users to dock to Television and other devices for viewing.

Sprint has announced simultaneous voice and data over WiMAX for data and CDMA for voice too.

The EVO 4G is the 1st Android Phone to run 3G and 4G.

Out of everything, though, the one aspect of the Droid Incredible that absolutely knocked our socks off is general performance. The smartphone is armed with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 512MB ROM and 512MB RAM and the Droid Incredible was one of the most responsive and fastest Android devices; heck, one of the fastest smartphones in general, that we've tested to date. The handset handled every task we threw at it without stumbling, and even with six open apps open, the Incredible never slowed down.
Just like the Legend and Desire, the Droid Incredible runs the newer version of HTC Sense, which was announced at Mobile World Congress 2010. This includes a revamped mail widget that can take you to a list view of all your e-mail instead of just one message at a time. Once in the mail app, there's a handy tabbed interface at the bottom that lets you view unread messages, attachments, meeting invites, and more with a simple touch. The Agenda widget also now displays your whole agenda on the screen, and like the HTC HD2, you get an animated weather widget right on the home screen that automatically displays the current conditions based on your location. 	HTC DROID INCREDIBLE Android Phone (Verizon Wireless) List Price: $599.99

Amazon has been in the cell phone business for a couple years now. Most people don't Think of the site when it comes to Smartphone though.
Amazon aims to change how user think of the site including the fact that they have lots of tech items. To make it clear they mean it Amazon.com has decided to sell phone directly. Some of the listings are indivisual sellers, but not in the Handset Category with The Newest Cell Phones. In other words when Amazon sell a recently released phone they sell it themselves through carriers direct.
Amazon is selling the HTC Droid Incredible for $149.99. They don't want folks like us showing the price, but we feel compeled to.

The reason for the demand is surely due to a few factors. One being the fact that Nexus One Imploded just a few days prior to the HTC Phones launch. A week long pre launch is most likely a factor too. The biggest reason is probably that people have see the Motorola Droid in action via friends or TV Commercials.

The Incredible simply put is now top dog as far as touch screen phones go's. Combining the power on this phone with Sense UI, Google Apps, Verizon Apps and a laundry list of features and functions will propel The HTC Droid Incredible to the top quickly.

The crew over at HTC must be very excited. The world has never seen a cell phone sell out so fast. Not as far as we can remember. The Incredible went live on Verizon just after midnight and by noon the splash page was changed to, Will Ship By May 7.

These quotes say loads for the Verizon Wireless Smartphone as the traditional mainstream publications are only now learning of Android.
