New Samsung i500 Android Phone Arriving At Cellular South

The newest Android Phone from Samsung is launching soon. The i500 as been officially announced and we should see it with in a few weeks.
The Samsung i500 Mesmerize Android has a 4 inch Super AMOLED Screen and is only 10mm thick. It will be launched with 2.1 Eclair and certainly updatble to Froyo 2.2 and the upcoming Ginger Bread OS at some point.
This device is a entertainment powerhouse and only adds to the Mobile Phone companies line of Android Devices.
Samsung has showcased just how committed they are to Google Android by manufacturing these new smartphones for us.

The i500 will be sold on Cellular South as far as we can tell.

Droid R2D2 Official Launch Gets Its Own Website

When the Droid 2 launched the press release mentioned The Special Edition R2D2 Droid. Verizon Wireless has taken the launch of the device one step further by adding a mini site. The phone is confirmed for September 30, 2010.

Those who attended the Star Wars convention in Fla during the proceeding week where treated to a preview of the device. Rumors of some fans winning or being given R2D2 Phones haven't materialized for us.

The Android Phone with a twist has the same configuration as the Droid 2, but we have heard that it could be preloaded with the Star Wars Saga Complete Collection. Also a rumor.

The new Skype mobile™ product enhances Verizon Wireless’ smartphones for users who have data plans by offering a new way to call around the globe, while also giving hundreds of millions of Skype users around the world the opportunity to communicate with friends, family and business colleagues in the United States using Verizon Wireless.

The two companies have created an exclusive, easy-to-use Skype mobile offering for 3G smartphones. Verizon Wireless 3G smartphone users with data plans can use Skype mobile to:

- make and receive unlimited Skype-to-Skype voice calls to any Skype user around the globe on America’s most reliable wireless network;
- call international phone numbers at competitive Skype Out calling rates;
